The department of ENT under the leadership of the honorable director Dr Madhabnanad Kar organized a CME on ‘Vertigo” on 07.12.2024 in the IPD lecture hall from 8.30 am to 5 .00 Pm. The CME has been accredited with 2 CME points by the AP medical council. A host of speakers from across the state were invited to give talks on various aspects of vertigo including BPPV, Menieres disease, and Central cause for vertigo. The CME helped create awareness on this often neglected issue and generated an enthusiastic response from the participants. The second half of the CME had hands on demonstration of various diagnostic modalities for vertigo like VNG, BPPV repositioning software, etc; this was well appreciated by the participants. With more than 100 participants, the CME was a grand success and we thank the whole Aiims Mangalagiri team for helping us make it so.
ईएनटी विभाग ने माननीय निदेशक डॉ. माधवनद कर के नेतृत्व में 07.12.2024 को आईपीडी लेक्चर हॉल में सुबह 8.30 बजे से शाम 5 बजे तक ‘वर्टिगो’ पर एक सीएमई का आयोजन किया। सीएमई को एपी मेडिकल काउंसिल द्वारा 2 सीएमई अंकों से मान्यता दी गई है। राज्य भर से कई वक्ताओं को बीपीपीवी, मेनियार्स रोग और वर्टिगो के केंद्रीय कारण सहित वर्टिगो के विभिन्न पहलुओं पर बातचीत करने के लिए आमंत्रित किया गया था। सीएमई ने इस अक्सर उपेक्षित मुद्दे पर जागरूकता पैदा करने में मदद की और प्रतिभागियों से उत्साही प्रतिक्रिया प्राप्त की। सीएमई के दूसरे भाग में वर्टिगो के लिए विभिन्न नैदानिक विधियों जैसे वीएनजी, बीपीपीवी रिपोजिशनिंग सॉफ्टवेयर आदि का प्रदर्शन किया गया; इसे प्रतिभागियों ने खूब सराहा।
